Waypoint is committed to protecting children from exploitation and abuse. This page describes our standards, policies, and the measures we take to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform, in line with app store requirements and applicable law.
Waypoint has zero tolerance for content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or sexualizes minors in any form. This applies to every part of the app — the Wall, polls, voice posts, moments (pictures), and matched chat conversations.
Waypoint is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Before using the app, every user must confirm they are 18 or older and accept our Terms. A person who says they are under 18 cannot continue, and that answer is remembered on the device. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create or use a Waypoint account.
Reports of suspected CSAE content or behavior are treated with the highest priority. If we become aware of content or activity involving the exploitation or endangerment of a minor, we will remove the content, take action against the associated account, and report the matter to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant local law enforcement authorities as required by applicable law. In India, we report it through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), as required by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. We preserve the related records for 180 days so they are available to investigators.
Sanjeev Gulia serves as the designated compliance contact for child safety matters at Waypoint.

If you encounter content or behavior on Waypoint that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools, or contact us directly at the email address above. Do not attempt to investigate or engage with suspected content yourself — report it and let us handle it.
