Waypoint — Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Waypoint, operated by Arthvan Analytics Pvt Ltd (CIN U82990DL2026PTC470520) ("we", "us") for your use of the Waypoint app. You must accept them before you can use the app. If you do not agree, do not use Waypoint.

Zero tolerance. Waypoint has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these Terms is removed, and the accounts that post it are permanently ejected.

1. Who can use Waypoint

You must be 18 or older. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you are. We remove accounts we believe belong to anyone under 18.

2. What is not allowed

You may not post, send, record or share any of the following, in posts, polls, voice posts, moments (pictures), chats, names or anywhere else in the app:

3. How we enforce this

4. Your content

You are responsible for what you post. You keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to store, display and deliver it (including automated translation) to operate the app. Posts are shown under a daily rotating name rather than your real identity, but anonymity is not a licence to break the rules: we keep limited technical records (such as the IP address and time of sessions) for a limited period, and we may disclose them to authorities where the law requires or to prevent serious harm.

5. Chats

Chats are between you and a stranger, are time-limited, and are text-only. You can end a chat, report a message, or block the other person at any time. Do not share personal details you would not want a stranger to have.

6. Not an emergency or medical service

Waypoint is a community, not a crisis, medical, legal or counselling service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number. The app shows helpline information when a post suggests someone may be struggling.

7. Ending your access

You can delete your account and data at any time from My Waypoints. We may suspend or eject any account that breaks these Terms, without notice where the breach is serious.

8. Availability and liability

Waypoint is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, and we cannot control what other users say. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for user content or for losses that arise from using the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded Waypoint from the Apple App Store: (a) these Terms are between you and Waypoint only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; (b) you receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms; (c) we, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support, and for any warranty claims, product claims, or claims that the app infringes third-party intellectual property; (d) you confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Waypoint after that means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi, India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

12. Contact and reporting

To report inappropriate activity or a safety concern, use the report and block options in the app, or email sanjeevgulia@gmail.com. The same address is in the app under How Waypoint works, then Contact us.

Grievance Officer: Sanjeev Gulia, sanjeevgulia@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
